What we pump

What the truck is set up to do.

Everything Valley Septics handles, in the order people ring about it.

01

Septic

Septic system design

The standard household pump-out. We lift the lid, vacuum the tank down, check the outlet and leave the lid seated properly.

02

Wastewater

Wastewater system installation

Onsite wastewater systems pumped, serviced and checked over, whatever brand is in the ground.

03

Servicing

Servicing and long-term maintenance

Routine maintenance on a set interval, so nothing on the property gets to the emergency stage.

04

Council

Council approvals and permits

Council approvals and permits, on a day that suits you and with the site left as we found it.

05

Land

Land assessments

Land assessments handled on the same visit, so it is not another trip and another bill.

What happens on the day

No mystery, no mess.

A phone call, and it is booked

One conversation. You hear what it costs, you hear when we can be there, and that is the booking done.

Finding it is part of the job

Under the lawn, under a garden bed, under a slab someone poured over it. We locate the lid and uncover it before anything else.

Hose to the tank, truck stays put

The hose does the walking so the truck does not have to. Sludge, crust and liquid all go, not just the easy layer off the top.

The paperwork follows the load

Tipped at a licensed facility, recorded, and available to you if a council or a buyer ever asks where it went.

Your service report, done at the tank

Aerated systems need a service record for the council. It gets filled in while we are there, not from memory afterwards.

Lid seated, ground left tidy

Back down square, safe to stand on, and the grass no worse than we found it.

Not the same as the next truck

What you actually get with Valley.

Taken from what the business says about itself, not from a template.

Passive treatment systems engineered for durability and minimal maintenance

Only one day active on site per installation

Handles residential, commercial and hard-to-access sites

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?
For most households it is every three to five years, and it depends on tank size and how many people live there. If it has been longer than five years, or you have just moved in and nobody can tell you when it was last done, book it.
How do I know if mine needs doing?
Slow drains through the whole house, gurgling, a smell near the tank, or wet ground and greener grass over the trench. Any of those means ring, do not wait.
Do you need to find the lid, or do I?
We can find it. If you know where it is, tell us and we are faster. If nobody has looked in twenty years, that is a normal job for us.
Can the truck get to my tank?
Usually. Tell us if the tank is behind a locked gate, down a steep drive, or more than about thirty metres from where a truck can park, and we will bring the right hose.
What happens to the waste?
It goes to a licensed facility and it is documented. Ask for the docket any time you want it.
Do you do the council service report as well?
Yes. Aerated systems have to be serviced on a set interval and reported. We do the service and fill in the report at the tank, so you are not chasing paperwork later.
How much does it cost?
It depends on tank size, access and how long it has been. Ring (03) 5633 2306 with your address and you get a real number, not a range.
