What happens on the day

What actually happens on the day.

You ring, we give you a day

No answering service, no ticket. You get a person, a price and a day that suits the truck and suits you.

We find the lid before we start

If you have never had it pumped, we locate and uncover the tank. Old lids under a garden bed are our normal Tuesday.

The tank goes out, not the lawn

Hose run from the truck, tank vacuumed down, sludge and crust taken with it. Boards down if the ground is soft.

It is tipped where it should be

Waste goes to a licensed facility. If you ever need the docket, we have it.

The council report is handled

Treatment systems come with paperwork obligations. We do the service and the report together, so nothing is chased later.

The lid goes back properly

Seated, weighted, and safe to walk over. That last part matters more than anything else on this list.

Not the same as the next truck

What you actually get with Suck.

Taken from what the business says about itself, not from a template.

"When you call us, you don't just get a truck driver; you get a fully licensed plumber" — owner-operator David is a licensed plumber, not just a driver

Carries 40 metres of hose, and will load more on request if you tell them at booking that access is tight

All septic waste is released into an approved sewage facility and treated along with town sewage — never dumped on the property

Fixed phone quote: "It will not change as long as the supplied information is correct"

They will remove the septic lids themselves, provided the lids are uncovered

Service area stated as a boundary, in their words: "Wodonga to Seymour, Mansfield to Tocumwal, Bright to Kyabram and all places in between"

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?
For most households it is every three to five years, and it depends on tank size and how many people live there. If it has been longer than five years, or you have just moved in and nobody can tell you when it was last done, book it.
How do I know if mine needs doing?
Slow drains through the whole house, gurgling, a smell near the tank, or wet ground and greener grass over the trench. Any of those means ring, do not wait.
Do you need to find the lid, or do I?
We can find it. If you know where it is, tell us and we are faster. If nobody has looked in twenty years, that is a normal job for us.
Can the truck get to my tank?
Usually. Tell us if the tank is behind a locked gate, down a steep drive, or more than about thirty metres from where a truck can park, and we will bring the right hose.
What happens to the waste?
It goes to a licensed facility and it is documented. Ask for the docket any time you want it.
Do you do the council service report as well?
Yes. Aerated systems have to be serviced on a set interval and reported. We do the service and fill in the report at the tank, so you are not chasing paperwork later.
How often does a grease trap need doing?
Most kitchens run somewhere between monthly and quarterly, and your council sets the minimum. We will tell you honestly if you are paying for visits you do not need.
How much does it cost?
It depends on tank size, access and how long it has been. Ring 0447 521 981 with your address and you get a real number, not a range.
Book it in

Book it while it is still a job, not an emergency.

Ring 0447 521 981 and speak to someone, or leave your details and get a call back.

We read every one of these. If it is urgent, ring instead — it is faster.
