What we pump

What the truck is set up to do.

Everything Septics and More handles, in the order people ring about it.

01

Thorough

Thorough pump outs of septic tanks

The standard household pump-out. We lift the lid, vacuum the tank down, check the outlet and leave the lid seated properly.

02

Removal

Removal of built-up solids and sludge

Removal of built-up solids and sludge, on a day that suits you and with the site left as we found it.

03

Aerated

Aerated wastewater system (Envirocycle) pump outs

Envirocycle and similar treatment systems serviced and pumped, with the council report done on the spot.

04

Water

Water tank and small pond clean outs

Rainwater tanks drained, cleaned out and refilled, so what comes out of the tap is what you thought was in there.

05

Grey

Grey water and septic waste removal

Grey water pits and tanks emptied, and the outlet checked while the lid is off.

What happens on the day

Straightforward, start to finish.

You get a person, not a queue

Ring and someone who drives the truck answers. You get a price and a day on that call, not a callback.

We find the lid before we start

If you have never had it pumped, we locate and uncover the tank. Old lids under a garden bed are our normal Tuesday.

The tank goes out, not the lawn

Hose run from the truck, tank vacuumed down, sludge and crust taken with it. Boards down if the ground is soft.

You hear it straight

If something down there is on its way out, you are told at the tank, in plain words, with no invoice attached to the sentence.

Disposed of under licence

It leaves your place and goes to a licensed receiving facility. The paperwork exists and you can have a copy.

We leave it safe

An unseated septic lid is the most dangerous thing on a rural block. Ours go back properly, every time.

Not the same as the next truck

What you actually get with Septics.

Taken from what the business says about itself, not from a template.

Publishes its actual truck spec: 8,000L tank, 'approximately the size of a small concrete truck'

Carries approximately 50m of hose, with more available on notice

Disposal through an EPA approved council waste facility

Describes its people as 'qualified wastewater service agents'

Serves rural, residential and commercial clients

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?
For most households it is every three to five years, and it depends on tank size and how many people live there. If it has been longer than five years, or you have just moved in and nobody can tell you when it was last done, book it.
How do I know if mine needs doing?
Slow drains through the whole house, gurgling, a smell near the tank, or wet ground and greener grass over the trench. Any of those means ring, do not wait.
Do you need to find the lid, or do I?
We can find it. If you know where it is, tell us and we are faster. If nobody has looked in twenty years, that is a normal job for us.
Can the truck get to my tank?
Usually. Tell us if the tank is behind a locked gate, down a steep drive, or more than about thirty metres from where a truck can park, and we will bring the right hose.
What happens to the waste?
It goes to a licensed facility and it is documented. Ask for the docket any time you want it.
Do you do the council service report as well?
Yes. Aerated systems have to be serviced on a set interval and reported. We do the service and fill in the report at the tank, so you are not chasing paperwork later.
Can you do the rainwater tank while you are here?
Yes, and it is worth doing on the same visit. One trip out, one call-out, both tanks sorted.
How much does it cost?
It depends on tank size, access and how long it has been. Ring 0414 548 046 with your address and you get a real number, not a range.
