What we pump

Everything the tank might need.

Everything NT Recycling Solutions handles, in the order people ring about it.

01

Septic

Septic tank pump outs

The standard household pump-out. We lift the lid, vacuum the tank down, check the outlet and leave the lid seated properly.

02

Sullage

Sullage tanks

Sullage and grey water pumped out and taken away, on a schedule or as a one-off.

03

Holding

Holding tanks

Holding tanks pumped on a standing run, so it never becomes an emergency call.

04

Grease

Grease trap waste

Kitchen grease traps emptied and washed out on a schedule that keeps the council and your kitchen happy.

05

Triple

Triple interceptor pits

Triple interceptors pumped and washed down, so the last chamber is doing its job and not passing solids on.

06

Portable

Portable toilet pump outs

Portable toilets delivered, serviced and collected. Site sheds, events, and jobs that run long.

07

Treatment

Treatment plant pump outs

Aerated treatment systems serviced, pumped and left running the way the manufacturer intended.

What happens on the day

How the day goes.

You get a person, not a queue

Ring and someone who drives the truck answers. You get a price and a day on that call, not a callback.

Nobody knows where the lid is. That is fine

Half the jobs start with a probe and a shovel. If the lid has been buried since the eighties, we will still find it.

The tank goes out, not the lawn

Hose run from the truck, tank vacuumed down, sludge and crust taken with it. Boards down if the ground is soft.

It is tipped where it should be

Waste goes to a licensed facility. If you ever need the docket, we have it.

The council report is handled

Treatment systems come with paperwork obligations. We do the service and the report together, so nothing is chased later.

The lid goes back properly

Seated, weighted, and safe to walk over. That last part matters more than anything else on this list.

Not the same as the next truck

What you actually get with NT.

Taken from what the business says about itself, not from a template.

Holds environmental licences for liquid waste collection and uses EPA-approved disposal

Owns its own Materials Recovery Facility at Berrimah — they control the disposal end

Two published NT addresses, landline switchboard — a real operation, not a one-truck outfit

Why people ring them

Known in Woolner for turning up.

Named fleet — "various sized vacuum tankers" covering household domestic through to large commercial

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?
For most households it is every three to five years, and it depends on tank size and how many people live there. If it has been longer than five years, or you have just moved in and nobody can tell you when it was last done, book it.
How do I know if mine needs doing?
Slow drains through the whole house, gurgling, a smell near the tank, or wet ground and greener grass over the trench. Any of those means ring, do not wait.
Do you need to find the lid, or do I?
We can find it. If you know where it is, tell us and we are faster. If nobody has looked in twenty years, that is a normal job for us.
Can the truck get to my tank?
Usually. Tell us if the tank is behind a locked gate, down a steep drive, or more than about thirty metres from where a truck can park, and we will bring the right hose.
What happens to the waste?
It goes to a licensed facility and it is documented. Ask for the docket any time you want it.
Do you do the council service report as well?
Yes. Aerated systems have to be serviced on a set interval and reported. We do the service and fill in the report at the tank, so you are not chasing paperwork later.
How often does a grease trap need doing?
Most kitchens run somewhere between monthly and quarterly, and your council sets the minimum. We will tell you honestly if you are paying for visits you do not need.
How much does it cost?
It depends on tank size, access and how long it has been. Ring (08) 8984 1500 with your address and you get a real number, not a range.
Book it in

Book it while it is still a job, not an emergency.

Ring (08) 8984 1500 and speak to someone, or leave your details and get a call back.

We read every one of these. If it is urgent, ring instead — it is faster.
