What happens on the day

No mystery, no mess.

You get a person, not a queue

Ring and someone who drives the truck answers. You get a price and a day on that call, not a callback.

Nobody knows where the lid is. That is fine

Half the jobs start with a probe and a shovel. If the lid has been buried since the eighties, we will still find it.

Emptied properly, not skimmed

A tank is not done when the liquid is gone. The crust and the settled sludge come out too, which is the part that decides how long before you need us again.

It is tipped where it should be

Waste goes to a licensed facility. If you ever need the docket, we have it.

Documented every visit

Trade waste is only compliant if it is recorded. Every visit is documented and the record is yours.

Lid seated, ground left tidy

Back down square, safe to stand on, and the grass no worse than we found it.

Not the same as the next truck

What you actually get with Childers.

Taken from what the business says about itself, not from a template.

Runs a second trading name, 'The Suck Truck' (thesucktruck.com.au), on the same phone number — two brands, one operator

Carries council-approved drinking water delivery alongside waste, so the truck earns on both legs

Operator 'Rexy' named on the site as the man doing the septic work

Depot at 13 Gelsominos Rd, South Isis; call-outs available on weekends despite listed Mon–Fri 7am–5pm hours

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?
For most households it is every three to five years, and it depends on tank size and how many people live there. If it has been longer than five years, or you have just moved in and nobody can tell you when it was last done, book it.
How do I know if mine needs doing?
Slow drains through the whole house, gurgling, a smell near the tank, or wet ground and greener grass over the trench. Any of those means ring, do not wait.
Do you need to find the lid, or do I?
We can find it. If you know where it is, tell us and we are faster. If nobody has looked in twenty years, that is a normal job for us.
Can the truck get to my tank?
Usually. Tell us if the tank is behind a locked gate, down a steep drive, or more than about thirty metres from where a truck can park, and we will bring the right hose.
What happens to the waste?
It goes to a licensed facility and it is documented. Ask for the docket any time you want it.
How often does a grease trap need doing?
Most kitchens run somewhere between monthly and quarterly, and your council sets the minimum. We will tell you honestly if you are paying for visits you do not need.
Can you do the rainwater tank while you are here?
Yes, and it is worth doing on the same visit. One trip out, one call-out, both tanks sorted.
How much does it cost?
It depends on tank size, access and how long it has been. Ring 0417 626 822 with your address and you get a real number, not a range.
Book it in

Sort it now, not at midnight.
